Over the many years I’ve been in the automotive appearance and enhancement business, Ive been asked repeatedly after I detail a customers car ” how do I take care of it from here?”
I was always a little surprised by the question. My thoughts were , well what were you doing before I detailed it? and the usual response would be either, nothing…….haha or I usually just run it through the quickie place wash down the street.
So my goal with this post is to walk you through a simple process of washing your car that shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes on a Saturday morning.
So lets first talk about supplies.
I enjoy shopping at Amazon.com that’s were I would say I buy most of my supplies for my personal use as well as for my business. I am a prime member so I get free two day shipping as well as greatly reduced next day shipping as well. I highly recommend trying out Amazon Prime, there selection is enormous and there prices for the most part beat walmart. The only downfall is that you have to wait for your purchase to arrive versus getting it that day and getting to work. But, I find if I plan ahead a little I can save some money plus get that joy of opening that mystery box of goodies.
Here’s a quick supplies list I put together strait from Amazon of simple products I’ve used in the past. I’m going for a budget of $100 or less to get started.
